Ceiling work
FALSE CEILING – It is suspended a few inches below the basic ceiling on a metal framework which can be made of any lightweight construction material Our False & wall Ceiling Process • First of all the length and width of the roof is measured. • Drill the holes and inside that fix the anchor bolts where exactly frame going to come. • Putting it at a even distance and the entire frame ready • So before creating the fall ceiling you need to plan like from where exactly. • So once they actually put the frame it would be work for the electricians. • It would be work for the electricians to get all the wiring done you they would be using the gypsum board to put on the frames • So once that is done the painter works starts like where starts like where it’s completely the same process what they do. • Same process what they do for the walls where they have to put the primer and putty and then polish it to give the best finish • Electrical works starts again where starts again where like they have to put this lighting and things. •
Types of false ceiling
1. Plaster of Paris false & wall ceiling
2. Gypsum false ceiling
3. Wood false ceiling
4. GRID CEILING
5. GLASS CEILING
6. PVC PANEL CEILING
1 – Plaster of Paris false ceiling – Durable, No crack and wear and tear after installaton. -Make any design POP false & wall ceilings are made of POP powder. The POP powder is applied on chicken wire mesh that provides mechanical strength. Once dried (over a week’s time), it creates a POP false ceiling
2 – Gypsum false ceiling – Easy and Clean installation – Fast installation – Consistancy in quality of product Cons -Joint of gypus board cracks after some time POP sheet and Gypsum cost are same.
3 – Wood false&wall ceiling – Wood false & wall ceiling are installed by fixing wooden blocks or panels on the structural ceiling and finishing it with veneer or wood polish. Pine is the most used wood in this applications. It is done in combinations of finishes in Melamine, Natural varnished wood, Lacquers, laminates – CPL (continuous pressure laminates) & HPL (High pressure laminates) etc.
4 – GRID CEILING – Grid false & wall Ceiling System is a lay-in grid system based on lightweight gypsum board and metal frame. A grid ceiling is a false & wall ceiling in the sense that it is not part of a permanent support structure Grid ceilings are sometimes called T-bar ceilings because “T-bars” form the Grid that holds the ceiling panels in place. Tiles Grid false & wall Ceiling Materials are GI Grid, Metal Grid, Mineral Fibre Tiles, Glass Wool Tiles, Gypsum Laminated Tiles, Metal Ceiling Tiles, Calcium Silicate Tiles, Gypsum Tiles etc. ACP Ideas provides a plastic version of the grid,
5 – GLASS CEILING – Glass Ceiling requires some base as secondary ceiling of metal frame & sometimes used in combination of Wooden frame & T Bar channels. Usually transparent glass is not used as false & wall ceiling as it contradicts the idea of false & wall ceiling-to hide from viewers eye. Thus Glass used in ceiling are treated glass such as Frost glass, Stained, Back painted & Mirror Glass
6 – PVC PANEL CEILING – PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) false & wall Ceiling panels are being widely used as a cladding material for the ceilings. PVC is a strong lightweight plastic material that is factory-manufactured into ceiling panels of various designs, colours, sizes and lengths In addition, PVC false & wall ceilings are also known for being antifungal, resistant to corrosion, not requiring painting, easy to clean, termite proof, and waterproof.
